Always On The Go As a "Work-at-Home" Dad, Jochen Just Finished a Season of Serving as Assistant Coach to Toby's AYSO Soccer Team and Acting as Referee for Joshua's Home Games. He Was Also Recently Elected As a Parent Represenative to the Montalvo Elementary School Site Council and Continues the Tradition of a Weekly "Deutschstunde" (German Club) For the Boys With Two Other German Families. However, He Lives for Fridays, When He Escapes to Play Volleyball With A Group of Friends.

Tricia Feels Fortunate to Have a Job She Thoroughly Enjoys as Planning Manager/Administrator at the County of Ventura. Between Working Full-Time, Parenting Two Active Boys, and Serving as the Family’s Scribe and Photographer, Her Life is Full. On The Weekends She Enjoys Hiking along the Coast, Watching the Sunset, Hosting Friends for Dinner, or Reading a Good Novel.
JOSHUA - 7.5 Years Old
In Second Grade Now, Joshua is Inquisitive, Articulate, and Remarkably Observant. He Tells Everyone His Favorite School Subjects Are Math and Recess, But He's Eager To Learn Anything Science Related, Too. He Loves to Play Soccer, Cook with Mommy, Read Judy Blume and Dav Pilkey Books, Build Elaborate Lego Structures, and Conspire with Toby. Recently, He and Toby Set Up a Tattoo Parlor Upstairs with The Intent to Earn Money-- Like a Lemonade Stand. At the Moment He Enjoys Sudoku Puzzles, Writing Short Stories, and Anything Star Wars Related. This Year He Learned to Play Jingle Bells on the Piano, Started Earning an Allowance, and Competed in His First Basketball League.
TOBY - 5 Years Old
Toby Is Lively, Affectionate, and Social. He Loves to Dress-up as a Pirate, Climb to Dizzying Heights, Make People Laugh, Listen to Beverly Clearly Stories on CD, and "Invent Things". His Imagination is Legendary. For The Past Several Months He's Been Engaged in Regular "Spy Missions". He Does Not Leave Home Without His Secret "Spy Book". Indeed, He Enthusiastically Regales Anyone Willing to Listen with Tales of His Spy Activities. He Recently Asked Mom to Drive Him to South America For His Next Assigment. Bolivia Was Out of the Question, but He Does Ride His Own Bicycle with Daddy 3 Miles Roundtrip to Children's World Preschool Five Mornings a Week.
